Rules & regulations

Excessive noise
Villa Savina is located in the residential community of Pedregal. Although this is a holiday destination, it's home to many people. Please respect their privacy and right to a peaceful existence.
- Between 10pm and 8am, noise must be kept to a minimum in all outside areas; no music is permitted outdoors. If you choose to play music inside, ensure all windows and doors are closed.
- During the day, music should be kept at a reasonable level in outdoor areas.
- Excessive noise or disorderly conduct warnings issued by Pedregal Security will be assessed a $1,000 fine.
- Live bands and DJs are not permitted at Villa Savina.
No parties policy
For the safety and security of all guests and residents of Pedregal, parties are not permitted at the villa.
Smoke-free home
This is a smoke-free home, including all outside areas surrounding the property. No smoking of any substance is permitted anywhere.
Pet-free home
We love animals but we chose to make this home pet-free due to many people being allergic. Exceptions may be made for trained service animals; documentation of medical diagnosis and service-animal training will be required.
No glass in pool area
For your safety, glass is not permitted in or close to the pool and jacuzzi.
Breakages
Should you break anything, please let us know immediately.
Gym rules
- Do not throw or drop weights in an uncontrolled manner.
- Do not use machines and weights in a manner for which they were not intended.
- Always re-rack dumbbells, plates, and other equipment.
- Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment to a staff member promptly.
- No gym staff on duty. Use of the gym is at your own risk.
Pool rules
- Diving is not permitted due to the shallow nature of the swimming pool and jacuzzi.
- No sitting, standing, or laying on the pool perimeter walls.
- No running or horseplay in the pool area.
- No glass objects in or near the pool and jacuzzi — penalties will apply.
- Do not bring cushions, chairs, towels, or other objects into the pool.
- Do not sit or stand in close proximity to the pool fire features.
- No lifeguard on duty. Use of the pool is at your own risk.
Outdoor games, drones, parking
- Bocce ball, golf putting, ping pong, tennis, pickleball, and other games are available. Be mindful of the sun and heat, and stay hydrated.
- Pedregal does not allow the use of drones, aircraft, or other flying objects. Fines of $500 per incident apply.
- Please do not move furniture.
- There is ample parking in the garage for two vehicles. Guests and vendors may park on the driveway in front of the garage.

In case of fire
- Exit the property as quickly as possible.
- Ensure that all persons are accounted for.
- Dial +52 624 143 3577 and ask for "FIRE".
- State your location.
- Contact the house manager.
- Do not attempt to re-enter the building until a fire officer states that it is safe to do so.
Before you leave home.
Guest registration
All guests and visitors must be registered with the Pedregal Security Office at least 48 hours prior to arrival. This ensures no issues when arriving into the gated community. We also need guest contact information and passport details in case of emergency.
All guests and visitors must agree to the SAVINA House Rules.
Each guest over the age of 18 must complete and electronically sign the registration personally. You'll need the confirmation code provided when you made your reservation.

Arrival information.
Planning your arrival
We will meet and greet you on arrival, then show you around. Please let us know roughly what time you expect to arrive. If you're travelling by plane, share your flight information so we can monitor for delays.
Early check-in can sometimes be arranged — please contact us and we'll do our best. If you're arriving before 3pm, there's plenty to do nearby (see the Local Area Guide below).
Getting yourself oriented
Villa Savina is located in the hillside community of Pedregal, close to the bustling restaurant and nightlife scene in downtown Cabo. The community has direct access to a semi-private beach on the Pacific side with an expansive shoreline — note that the waves and currents here are not suitable for swimming or water activities. Medano Beach, on the Sea of Cortez side, is about 10 minutes away by car and is safe for swimming, with great restaurants and a vibrant scene.
If you arrive early
We often suggest grabbing a nice lunch on the beach or at one of the amazing restaurants close to the airport — Flora Farms or Acre are both excellent.
Guests are free to drop off luggage at the villa prior to check-in if needed. It will be stored in a secure location on the premises.
Transportation.
Impala Transportation (preferred)
Impala is our preferred transportation partner. They have a fleet of vehicles that can accommodate groups of any size — clean vehicles, professional staff. They accept cash and major credit cards and can assist with airport transfers and all other transportation needs while you're in Cabo San Lucas. Contact a member of our team and we'll make the introduction and set up transport for you.
Taxi
Taxi service is widely available in Cabo San Lucas but tends to be more expensive than in other places. If you need a taxi to pick you up at the villa, contact our House Manager or Butler. Alternatively, contact the Pedregal Security office at +52 624 143 7117 and ask them to call a taxi to Villa Savina on Camino Galento. It usually takes 10–15 minutes.
Uber
Uber is available in Cabo San Lucas and is the most economical option. However, drivers sometimes have difficulty finding the villa — it's often easier to use Impala or call a taxi. If you do use Uber, send a follow-up message with the address Camino Galento 5.
About the accommodation.
Appliances
Refrigeration
The guest kitchen has a refrigerator, freezer, beverage cooler, and wine fridge. You shouldn't need to adjust any settings. The refrigerator and freezer in the Chef's kitchen are not available to guests.
Range, oven, and outdoor grill
Guests are free to use all cooking appliances in the villa, including the outdoor grill and burner. The pizza oven is reserved for use by our approved chef partners only.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a complete selection of cookware, bakeware, cutlery, dinnerware, glassware, and serving pieces — everything required to prepare and serve meals for groups of any size.
Dishwasher
Two dishwashers are available. Detergent tablets are under the sink in the Chef's kitchen. Insert one into the flip-box container on the inside of the door, press the program button of your choice, then press start.
Climate / Air conditioning
The climate inside Villa Savina is carefully controlled to ensure your comfort while also respecting environmental considerations. Guests are welcome to adjust the Google Nest smart thermostats in the bedrooms and common areas. Throughout the day, settings will automatically adjust based on conditions. If you're running the air conditioning, please ensure all windows and outside doors are closed. Ask a staff member if you'd like help adjusting the thermostat.
Washer / Dryer
Dual washers and dryers are available in the Maid's Quarters opposite Bedroom C. Detergent is provided.
Fire features
SAVINA has multiple fire features. Each operates the same way: simply turn the timer clockwise to ignite the fire and start the timer.
Coffee machine (De'Longhi)
SAVINA exclusively uses Cafe Monte Grande coffee. Our staff makes coffee early each morning. To operate:
- If the power is not on, push the power button on the left — this starts a cleansing cycle that takes a couple of minutes.
- Using the two dials on the left, adjust the volume and strength of your coffee.
- Place your cup under the spout and press the coffee button.
- The unit will power itself off.
Pool, jacuzzi, and outdoor features
Swimming pool
The heated, salt-water swimming pool is temperature-controlled. It cannot be heated above 83°F, though pool temperature may exceed this in summer due to higher air temperatures. Please pay special attention to the safety rules.
Hot tub / jacuzzi
To operate the hot tub, use the circular outdoor control panel next to it. Press the "Spa" button to turn on the heat for 90 minutes — the system will heat to 101°F (38°C). Press the "Blowers" button to turn on the bubbles for 30 minutes. Please do not change any settings for the pool or hot tub. Ask a staff member if you need assistance.
Fire features outdoors
- One fire pit with large sitting area next to the main entry.
- One bowl-style fire pit by the outdoor kitchen.
- Additional fire feature on the upper deck.
All operate identically — turn the timer clockwise to ignite. Children should not operate fire features and should not be left unattended near them.
Outdoor grill
The outdoor grill and side burner are propane-powered and available for your use. Our staff cleans the area each morning. Please remove any food and dishes from the outdoor kitchen area after use.
Beach equipment
Villa Savina has chairs, an umbrella, and insulated cooler bags available for trips to the beach.
Outdoor games
A bocce ball field, 3-hole putting green, ping pong table, cornhole, tennis/pickleball court, and more are all on-site.
Enjoying your time inside
Televisions
Each bedroom has its own Samsung television, and there's an 85-inch Samsung TV in the living area. All TVs have the following streaming apps pre-installed:

- Netflix
Billiards
The billiards table sits with views of the Pacific Ocean. Racks and chalk are in the credenza opposite the table — push the drawers in to release them.
Ping pong table
A ping pong table is available on the property. Ask a staff member for paddles and balls.
Pickleball & tennis courts
On-site pickleball and tennis courts are available for guest use. Reservations are encouraged — ask a staff member for more information.
SONOS music system
SAVINA has a SONOS sound system throughout the villa. To use it:
- Connect your device to the WiFi network.
- Download the SONOS app.
- Open the app — SONOS will typically invite you to control the nearby system.
- If not, go to Settings → Join Nearby System.
- Once connected, tap the music icon and select Spotify or Amazon Music.
- You can turn music on and off in all bedrooms and common areas from the app.
Games
Board games, playing cards, and children's toys are available — ask a staff member for what's in the closet.
Security.
Pedregal gate security
Prior to your arrival, our house manager will submit the first and last names of all guests to the Pedregal security office. This is required for entry through the main gate. Only the guests on this list will be permitted entry.
Bedroom safes
Pedregal is a very safe community, but we always encourage guests to use the combination safes located in each bedroom for valuables. The General Manager is the only person who can reset a guest safe.
To engage the safe
- Close the door.
- Type in a 4-digit number.
- Push the Lock button.
- Confirm the safe is locked.
To open the safe
- Enter the same 4-digit code.
- The door will open.
Smart door locks
Throughout the villa, we have installed electronic smart locks on some doors. During your orientation, the General Manager will share the code and familiarize you with the lock operation. Contact the House Manager if you have any issues.
To open the door
- Press the large Ultraloq button on the bottom — this lights up the lock.
- Enter your 4-digit combination.
- Press the Ultraloq button again.
- Wait to hear the lock disengage, then open the door.
Surveillance
Pedregal has a community CCTV system, but those cameras are not fixed on our villa. We have installed cameras at Villa Savina for your safety and well-being. These cameras are located only in the following areas:
- Car port / front door
- Service entrance / side stairwell
- Outside the business center
- Fitness center
- Pool area
- Maid's quarters (not accessible to guests)
There are no cameras in any other areas of the villa.

Gratuities are at the sole discretion of our guests. We're often asked what is a "fair" or "reasonable" gratuity — our suggestion is:
If you feel service was truly outstanding, you might consider something a little higher. We work as a team at SAVINA, so all staff gratuities are pooled and split evenly. Please direct gratuities to the General Manager — he'll ensure they're appropriately dispersed to the staff.

Departure.
Check-out is strictly enforced. If you'd like a late check-out, please request in advance — it's subject to availability and almost impossible to offer when guests are arriving the same day.
Check-out process
Inspection
Prior to your departure, the staff will conduct a cursory walk-through of the villa to determine if there is any damage or missing items. A more extensive inspection will happen once you have left.
Settle expenses
If there's a balance due for products or services purchased on your behalf, it must be cleared prior to departure. We encourage guests to settle expenses with cash whenever possible to avoid a 3.5% credit card processing fee.
Don't forget
It's always a good idea to walk through the villa carefully to make sure you didn't forget shoes, sunglasses, phone chargers, or anything else.
